Following bruising litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery, Ajamie LLP has secured a recovery totaling $134,371,982.85 on behalf of minority investors in cellular telephone partnerships in litigation against AT&T.

The dispute arose from AT&T’s forced buyout and dissolution of cellular partnerships in which minority investors alleged that the transactions violated fiduciary and contractual obligations. The cases involved extensive discovery, complex valuation issues, and coordinated bellwether proceedings designed to resolve common legal and factual questions.

Vice Chancellor J. Travis Laster issued multiple detailed opinions addressing fiduciary duties and partnership agreement provisions in the context of freeze-out transactions. Those rulings were later affirmed on appeal, reinforcing the legal framework governing controlling partner conduct and partnership valuation disputes.

The outcome represents a significant result in partnership litigation involving telecommunications assets and highlights Ajamie LLP’s experience handling complex, high-stakes commercial disputes in Delaware’s nationally recognized business court.
