Ajamie Partner Dona Szak obtained dismissal of a federal court lawsuit that alleged our client breached an agreement to sell corporate stock. The plaintiff, an investment company, asked that the court ordered our client to follow through with the stock sale agreement, or in the alternative, pay millions of dollars in damages. The plaintiff’s ability to fully fund the stock purchase was questionable.
The dismissal, achieved at an early stage of the litigation, saved our client thousands of dollars in litigation costs and allowed our client to sell the stock to another buyer.
