Bank of America is in the crosshairs of federal prosecutors for mortgages sold by its Countrywide unit. In an interview for Marketplace, Tom Ajamie suggests that the government-backed agencies that bought the loans bear some responsibility because they “should have done their own due diligence, and not purchased certain loan packages.”
