Houston lawyer Tom Ajamie, who specializes in financial cases and has conducted receiverships, said it appears that the Antiguan receivers are “in the driver’s seat” where the bank’s assets are concerned, given its position outside U.S. borders and the Antiguan court’s move to place it in liquidation.
